‘Quest For Taste’ is the book that explores Terry Laybourne’s passion for finding superb quality, local ingredients. Written with screenwriter and playwright Stewart Howson, with stunning colour photography by Duncan Davis, the book takes the reader on a journey around Northumbria to meet the suppliers whose produce Terry uses as the foundation for his cooking. Terry then takes a personal look at the qualities of each product and gives tips on how they can best be exploited for flavour, colour and texture. Each of the 13 chapters also features some of Terry’s mouth-watering recipes.
